This Citiescapes City Break takes you to the delightful Belgian town of Bruges. During your Insiders Tour our guide will lead your exploration, showing you the well known sights, and some hidden gems that you might otherwise miss. You are then free to enjoy your time in this captivating city.

Itinerary

Day 1: On arrival you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel, the 4 Star Academie Hotel or 4 Star Hotel TerBrughe.

Day 2: Our experienced guide will lead your Insiders Walking Tour of Bruges, taking you to the main tourist sights, and to a few hidden gems that you might otherwise miss. The tour ends in the city centre, leaving the rest of the day at leisure in the city.

Day 3: Day at leisure. The delightful city of Bruges is a joy to explore, with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and museums. We can offer an optional tour to the Mennen Gate. Price €45 pp.

Day 4: Transfer from your hotel to the airport for the return flight.

4**** Hotel TerBrughe

Hotel Ter Brughe is situated along one of the most picturesque Brugean canals in the peaceful old quarter of St.Gillis. You will find the hotel near the 14th century Augustine Bridge. The house has been built in 1553 and is now a listed building. That’s also the reason why you will not find a lift in the hotel. The oldest part of the hotel is the vaulted cellar. Built originally as a warehouse for goods which were brought here along the canals, it serves today as a magnificent setting for your buffet breakfast.

Rooms:

Standard Rooms have a ensuite private bathroom with bath and WC, a radio, a colour television, direct dial telephone.

Hairdryers can be borrowed from the reception. There is also a safety deposit box at the reception to keep your securities safe.

Please Note: As this hotel is in a listed building, elevators are not available in this hotel. If you have mobility problems, please inform us so we can request a ground floor room. Breakfast is served in the cellar, which is only accessible via a flight of stairs.
